Being healthy is very important. You would probably say that earning money is more important. However, even if you have millions of dollars and you are not healthy, I can guarantee that you will not be happy.
So, committing to healthy living should be our first priority. There is no getting around it: your worst and best habits greatly affect your heart, mind, and overall health.
Today, I list top 5 best health habits that we should have:
Eating healthy food
We should eat healthy food every day. See my post Top 10 Best Food for what healthy food we should eat.
Walking
We should walk and do exercise after work. Any exercise is better than no exercise.
Visiting doctor annually
We should see doctors annually to do full body checkup. At least, we should do the basic tests such as cholesterol, blood pressure and diabetes. Taking preventive measures is important.
Relaxing
There are many ways for us to relax such as walking, yoga, meditation, praying, having hobbies, joining social clubs and making friends. All these things help lower stress and can reduce our risk of heart disease and heart attack.
Drinking enough water
We should drink at least 8 cups of water. Water flushes out wastes and toxins. When the body is not receiving enough water, toxins tend to stagnate, hindering all digestive and eliminative processes.
