Yesterday, I listed 10 best food which we should eat for better health. Besides eating good food, we should avoid bad food.
It is easier to find bad food than good food these days.
When we enter any convenience and fast-food store, we are not surprised to see an array of so-called food which is in fact concoction of sugar, chemicals, coloring and grease to add pounds to your waistline while adding nothing to your nutrition.
To have better health, we should not eat the following 10 worst food:
French fries
McDonald claim that they have changed their cooking oil. French fries are starchy white potatoes cooked in hot fat and flavored with chemicals and sugar. They are the worst food in the world!
Soda pop
This includes all the soft drinks: carbonated or not, the diet kind, sugar sweetened, and artificially sweetened. They have no nutritional value at all. If you are desperate for something sweet, go for fruit juice instead.
Potato or corn chips
They are just a packaged version of French fries and contain a large amount of added fat and lots of salt.
Bacon
As many as 95% of the calories in bacon come from fat. It is high in salt and full of nitrate’s and nitrites, which may cause cancer.
Fast-food hamburgers
They can contain as high as 600 calories and half of these calories are fat. In fact, the plain hamburgers are not quite high in fat. However, when you throw in the dressing and cheese, fat just adds up.
Crackers
Most crackers are loaded with trans-fats. Read their package labels carefully to find the few that do not contain trans-fats.
Chicken Nuggets
All fast food that is breaded and fried is bursting with fat. Nuggets and their dipping sauces also have a lot of sodium, which contributes to high blood pressure.
Cakes
The creamy filling is fake whipped cream, and the rest of it is sugar, flour and flavoring.
Prepackaged Lunches
They tend to be high in saturated fat, sodium and lot of sugar. Most of them are nutritionally unbalanced because they have no fruits and vegetables.
Doughnuts
They are just fried bread and have a glaze of sugar on top. Some even contain sugary cream filling. Eating them is worse than having no breakfast at all.
